Maria Williams (she/her) joined the staff of Teamsters Local Union No. 117 in November 2007 and has served in several different capacities during her tenure.  She presently occupies the role of Union Representative whereby she has the distinct pleasure of representing public sector workers throughout King County and she also serves as a Negotiations Co-Chair for the Coalition of Labor Unions in King County.  From the Pacific Northwest originally, she is a third-generation Teamster which infuses her passion for the labor movement as well as her interest in galvanizing the power of unionism in the modern world.  She has a wide range of experience working with nonprofit organizations and has worked with several other stakeholders integral to building the dynamic network of labor and community agencies operating in the area.
