As a Union, we have a lot at stake in next year's legislative session, which begins in January.  

• Tenemos un laudo arbitral de interés para financiar a nuestros miembros del DOC, el cual debe ser votado por todos nuestros legisladores Arriba o Abajo.
• Seguiremos liderando nuestra lucha contra la mala legislación para las familias trabajadoras, como la legislación sobre el Derecho al Trabajo (por menos), los retrocesos en nuestro sistema de pensiones para los empleados públicos y los recortes en nuestro fuerte sistema de Compensación al Trabajador.

No podemos ganar en estas prioridades si no tenemos los votos de la Cámara y el Senado. Es simple matemática.

That's why we are supporting Pam Roach for State Senate.  Pam will continue be one of our strongest allies in the legislature, and has already pledged to help pass funding for our DOC contract.  Her opponent, Rep. Cathy Dahlquist has never supported us in the state House on our main priorities and will be a bad vote in the Senate for the things we care about.
