In December, there was a termination arbitration hearing for a member at CRCC. We are awaiting the arbitrator’s response.

On January 6, Business Representative Eydie Dean met with Scott Frakes in Olympia to discuss the statewide grievance regarding meals periods during overtime assignments.

On January 22, there will be a meeting for WSP nurses to discuss issues at the facility. Director of Corrections and Law Enforcement Michelle Woodrow will be in attendance as well. For more information, contact Business Representative Humbert.
We have had a lot of discussions regarding use of force issues at the facility. We will keep you posted about the outcome of those discussions.
