We held a Contract Funding Strategy Session at AHCC on February 13. At the meeting, we identified several local business to target as potential supporters. We are holding similar meetings across the state to develop strategies for getting our contract funded.
DOC Shop Stewards from across the state met on March 13 for our annual Shop Steward Seminar. The DOC seminar was followed by an event for all Local 117 Shop Stewards on March 14 at the Washington State Convention Center.
We held our quarterly Membership Meeting for Teamsters at AHCC on March 17. At the meeting we discussed getting our contract funded and an update from legislative session in Olympia.

PENITENCIARÍA DEL ESTADO DE WASHINGTON
We held our Contract Funding Strategy Session on February 9 at the facility. We will be holding similar meetings across the state to discuss and develop strategies for getting our contract funded.
On February 18, we held an LMCC to discuss issues related to the closed loop food service.
On February 23, we met with the Department to discuss our demand to bargain related to the Department’s announcement to abolish some nursing positions.
