On November 2, Business Representative Humbert met with newly-elected Shop Stewards at AHCC.
On November 6, your Union representatives participated in an LMCC for the Closed Loop Food Program.
On November 10, Business Representative Humbert participated in a Step 1 grievance hearing for an employee at AHCC.
On November 12, Business Representative Humbert attended a hearing in Olympia for an employee at AHCC requesting a reallocation per the terms of the CBA.
On November 17, Business Representative Humbert attended a Step 1 grievance hearing for an employee at AHCC.
Due to the power outage on November 18, we held a second set of AHCC Holiday Meetings on Thursday, December 10.
On November 24, Business Representative Humbert participated in the Local Security Advisory meeting at the facility.
We will be holding our 2016 Lobby Day event for DOC Teamsters on Tuesday, January 26. We will be meeting with legislators to discuss several issues, including extending assault benefits for WA State correctional employees. You can register for this event here.

Our Holiday Membership Meetings for Teamsters at CRCC were held on November 16. We had good participation and excellent discussion about upcoming Lobby Day in January and the coming legislative session.
We will be holding our 2016 Lobby Day event for DOC Teamsters on Tuesday, January 26. We will be meeting with legislators to discuss several issues, including extending assault benefits for WA State correctional employees. You can register for this event here.
We held a training for Shop Stewards on November 16. Michelle Woodrow, Karen Estevenin and Dustin Lambro facilitated the training.
We filed a grievance involving an improper bid pull in November. We held the Step 1 grievance meeting and will be moving the grievance to Step 2.
On December 15, we had an LMCC to discuss the Department’s Use of Force Policy, including Deadly Use of Force.

On November 3, Business Representative Humbert participated in a Nurse Staffing Committee meeting at the facility.
On November 19, Business Representative Humbert participated in an investigatory interview with members at the facility.
On November 20, Representative Humbert participated in a termination hearing and 2 Step 1 grievance hearings at the facility.
