As we roll into the Labor Day weekend, we've got great news to share for Teamsters who work at the Lineage Logistics cold storage warehouse in Seattle.
After a long, tough contract fight, the group has voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new three-year agreement. The contract contains wage and pension increases in all three years, improvements to working conditions, increased lead and foreman pay, and an annual boot allowance.
"I couldn't be prouder of our members at Lineage Seattle," said Paul Dascher, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters 117. "They stayed united and fought valiantly against a company that dragged out negotiations for months. In they end, they prevailed, achieving a contract that respects their work - just in time for Labor Day."
