Paul first became a Teamster in 2008 when he went to work in the steel industry. As a Shop Steward, he was a delegate to the International Union Convention in 2011 and was hired as a Union Representative that same year. He became the Director of Representation in 2016 and has led a large team of Union Reps in both the public and private sectors. In 2022, he became the President of our Local and the following year was unanimously appointed Secretary-Treasurer. He was then elected to serve another term as your Secretary-Treasurer in 2025. Paul has a passion for lifting up ALL Teamsters members’ demands, defending their rights, and has a proven track record of negotiating excellent contracts in a myriad of industries. Paul is also a board member on the Washington Teamsters Welfare Trust as well as the Retirees Welfare Trust. He’s a VP on the Washington State Labor Council board and an IBT Warehouse Division Rep as well. In all of these roles, he is known to fight like hell for Teamsters members’ interests!
