How do you get more involved in your Union? It's easier than you might think!🫰 

You can attend one of our many Teamsters 117 events held throughout the year, interview candidates, rally with us, or walk a picket line. 

This month, we have our Solidarity Soccer Game & Crossbar Challenge on Saturday, September 20 ⚽️. On October 4, we'll be participating in the Come Walk with Me fundraiser to raise awareness for breast cancer 🎀. Throughout the year, we also offer trainings, seminars, and other educational opportunities - check our website calendar for more info.  

Perhaps the easiest way to connect with your Union is by attending a General Membership Meeting.

You'll get to hear about contract campaigns, organizing drives, and legislative victories. We have interactive activities where you can meet other Teamsters and delve deeper into the issues impacting working people.

If you come in person, I invite you to join us for dinner before the meeting starting at 6pm.🍲  We also have a virtual Zoom option for members who can't make it to the Union hall.
