Great news! Last night at approximately 11 P.M., the Governor signed our bill to extend assault benefits for DOC (6286).

Our bill to extend assault benefits for Washington State correctional employees cleared its final hurdle today with a unanimous 97-0 vote in the House.

A successful solidarity-building action takes a good organizer and some creativity. It should be a little subversive (without violating the contract!) and immediate in its response to management for utmost effect. Most importantly, lots of members should want to participate.
