Last night, KOMO TV aired an investigative report that exposes dangerously low staffing levels at the University of Washington Police Department.

We will be running a full-page ad in the Everett Herald next week that highlights the support of local, small businesses in funding our DOC contract.

Local 117 Secretary-Treasurer John Scearcy has published a guest editorial piece in the Walla Walla Union Bulletin.

Starting on May 11, we'll be running radio ads, calling on the legislature to fund the DOC contract. The ads will feature our DOC members and run in Olympia, Shelton, Aberdeen, Walla Walla and the Tri-Cities.
