Contract negotiations for our largest bargaining unit - Teamsters at the Department of Corrections - kicks off in early May. As always, there's a lot on the line for our members working in corrections, including safe working conditions, appropriate staffing levels, retirement security, and fair compensation.

With so much at stake, our member-driven DOC Negotiations Committee is ready to take on the challenge.

The team will be headed up by Director of Corrections & Law Enforcement, Sarena Davis and Staff Attorney, Eamon McCleery. Secretary-Treasurer Paul Dascher will also be frequently joining negotiations.

In addition, we have an outstanding group of volunteer Shop Stewards representing a comprehensive range of DOC positions who will be part of the team. Together with Union staff, these are the rank-and-file members who will be sitting across the table from the State to negotiate over our DOC contract:
