Kids receiving gifts were overjoyed with our Teamster Toy Drive delivery.

We've fired up our sleighs and are zipping to all corners of the State, delivering toys to Teamster kids. And the kids are going absolutely nuts!

They're leaping, whooping, and racing around, their faces gleaming with joy.

In all, we'll be shuttling gifts to the doorsteps of 23 families thanks to your generous donations to our Teamsters 117 Toy Drive. 

These are beautiful families, many having faced extreme hardship this year - a death, layoff, injury, or serious illness.

The teenage Toy Drive recipients were also super psyched!

With $2,500 in member donations along with a match by our Union's Executive Board, we're able to make this a holiday to remember for these families. 

Thanks to all who chipped in to this charitable effort. Special thanks to DeShawn Carter, a shop steward at Republic Services, who helped with the deliveries and to Halem Hassan, a member at Safeway Beverage, who contributed two boxes of toys.

We're also grateful to Union Rep Fred Rodgers who donated a mountain of toys, to our comms wizard Yulia Issa who spent many hours combing the aisles of Fred Meyer for the perfect gifts, and to our amazing office staff for helping with the gift wrapping.
